After Anil Kumble’s retirement as Indian coach on tuesday , all focus has turned to the selection of new coach . Meanwhile , many heavyweights have allready given their name for coaching Team India . Virender Sehwag , Lalchand Rajput , Tom Moody , Richard Pybus are the main name who have enrolled themselves for the coaching services.Ravi Shastri also is one of the probable. Post Kumble surprise resignation as a coach ,people have allready started discussing about these prospects for coaching India . Rahul Dravid who didn’t enrolled for the post is also in the list of probables. Some sources claim that Sanjay Bangar will now be the head coach.

We enquired a close BCCI official , who termed Virender Sehwag to be ahead of all in the race of being the coach .The coach electing committee (CAC) led by Saurav Ganguly , Sachin Tendulkar and VVX Laxman have earlier encouraged Sehwag to enroll himself for the coaching responsibilities and now his name is ahead in the race . However equal chances are also for Australia’s Tom Moody who is close to VVS Laxman , as they both have worked for Sunrisers Hyderabad together. Moody also has good relations with Indian cricketers , his calm nature and a low profilic personality also makes him the probable contender. England’s , Richard Pybus has only played one first class match , but he is considered the strategy master , he has also coached Pakistani team, two times. The wall of India , Rahul Dravid the Indian U19 team coach is not in the race still his name can’t be denied completely. Virat Kohli secretely stated that he wants Dravid to be the next coach . Kohli is also the biggest reason for Kumble’s exclusion and if he protests for Dravid’s name , then we might see the change of role for Dravid as he will move from U 19 level to coach senior team.
