A gem of a cricketer from Uttar Pradesh who went onto become the first Indian batter to score centuries in all three formats of the game. He was a prominent reason why an ordinary looking Chennai Super Kings with 3-4 big names had the best T20 middle order specialist in him that made them the champions for three times.
Born in a small town of Muradnagar in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Raina made the team understand the meaning of a true all-round cricketer who can be good with the bat and the bowl and can lift the spirit of the team with some acrobatics on the field.
He may be out of the national reckoning but considering his all-round abilities and the balance he brings to the team, one can not rule him out for the upcoming cricket world that takes place in England in 2019.
Suresh Raina celebrates his 32nd birthday
Meanwhile, the southpaw is celebrating his 32nd birthday and twitter is allready trending with hashtags like #HappyBirthdaySureshRaina. The fans as well as the cricketing fraternity is wishing the cricketer on the special day but it was the wish of Virender Sehwag that got all the attention.
Virender Sehwag’s hilarious wish is the talk of the town
Sehwag leaves no stones unturned to add the twist of humour to his tweets. On the occasion of Suresh Raina’s birthday, the Nawab of Najafgarh came up with a Virender Sehwag style tweet and added a twist of famous hindi song- Raina Beeti Jaye
“Raina Beeti Jaaye”. Sehwag seemed to have rhymed it perfectly. His post read, “Listening to “Raina Beeti Jaaye”, Shaam na aaaaaye . Same happens when @ImRaina is in full flow with the bat, feel like shaam na aaye. Wish you luck and happiness. #HappyBirthdayRaina,” Sehwag tweeted.
