Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Sachin Tendulkar who impressed in the recently concluded U19 tour to Sri Lanka was spotted bowling to Indian captain Virat Kohli in nets ahead of the second test at Lords. India suffered a 31 runs defeat in the first test and since then the fans have blasted the team for their batting failure. Virat Kohli was the lone warrior for the team, notching up 200+ runs that rescued the team from a humiliating loss.
To bounce back in the second test may be an uphill task for the visitors considering the green top at Lords which will again favour the bowlers. To bounce back needed good amount of net sessions and the Indian team didn’t leave any stones unturned to get themselves ready for the all important clash at Lords.
Players sweated it out in the practise sessions and a young Arjun Tendulkar also gave them a good practise. Arjun bowls left arm quick but there is no left arm bowler in the current England side. It still will be a good learning curve for Jr. Tendulkar and some practise for Indian batters to face a rare left arm pacer.

Indian bowling attack was more than handy in the first test and picked all the 20 wickets to give all the hopes to the Indian team for a famous win in Edgbaston. However, the batsman failed to capitalize but hopes will again lie on the shoulders of the bowlers to repeat their heroics and deliver in the second test. The bowling line-up is expected to be unchanged for the second test.
Jasprit Bumrah was expected to return in the second test but it is unlikely that he will get match fit. Another possible change on the cards was dropping Hardik Pandya and bringing in an extra spinner but considering the green top in Lords, this change also looks unlikely. Pandya can prove vital with the bat and can also chip in with some crucial overs with pitch expected to be supportive to the pacers.
