England’s dream of winning a world cup was shattered by an inspired Croatia as the men in Red and White thumped the “Three Lions” 2-1 in a match which went to the extra time. Croatia fought back after conceeding an early goal to score in a goal in the second half and then later in the extra time to become the 13th team to play the world cup final.
