Harbhajan Singh has been out of national reckoning owing to the rise of young spinners in the country. The veteran spinner from Punjab played his last ODI against South Africa in October 2015 followed by the last T20 against UAE in March 2016. The 38-years-old has still not retired from cricket and plays in the shortest format of the game for his state team as well as for the Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League.

Harbhajan has been a remembered for his aggressive mindset of play, whether its heated arguments with Andrew Symonds in 2008 or slapping S. Sreesanth in IPL 2008.

Bhajji now slaps a CWE wrestler

Back in 2008, Harbhajan Singh was playing a game for Mumbai Indians against Kings XI Punjab when he slapped S. Sreesanth during a game which created lot of controversy. The turbanator was suspended from the ODI team and was banned from playing in IPL 2008.

The controversy is still talked about in the cricket world but years after that Harbhajan has again slapped an athlete and this time from professional wrestling circuit.

Harbhajan was invited to the Great Khali’s wrestling academy – CWE(Continental Wrestling Entertainment) in Jalandhar where he was giving a motivational speech to the youngsters, sitting in the ring side area when a wrestler named “Singham Dubey ji” interfered.

“Dubey ji” is a much hyped wrestler in the CWE and his “heel” character has drawn enough viewers on the social media platform Youtube.

Harbhajan’s speech was cut short by Dubey ji who mocked him by saying that he is “Singham” of the ring and not him. He challenged “Bhajji” for a fight in the ring and attacked him when the former India off- spinner ducked and slapped him in his face. Dubey ji went flying off the ring to the ringside area as Harbhajan Singh stood tall.
