In a happening news for the WWE Universe, the company is trying to get the services of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live. The show will feature on 16th October(17th in India) in Washington D.C.
Its worth mentioning that SmackDown is named after Rock’s catchphrase and it might become a necessity to bring him back for the milestone show. There was a huge demand of bringing back Rock for the 1000th episode by the fans, who consider him the greatest ever wrestler to step into the WWE ring.
Some of the retired superstars like Batista, Edge, Ric Flair, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson and Vickie Guerrero will appear in the show alongside active members like Undertaker, Triple H and Rey Mysterio.
The main matches headlining the show will be of- Daniel Bryan & WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. The Miz & Samoa Joe in tag team action. Asuka, Naomi & Charlotte Flair vs. The IIconics & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
