(Miami, USA): Continuing his good run of form, Yuki Bhambri defeated Argentina’s Renzo Olivo in straight sets to move into the final round of the ATP Miami Masters qualifiers 2018, but Ramkumar Ramanathan faced the setback as he failed to advance in the final round.
Yuki, who earlier qualified for the main draw of Indian Wells Masters and went on to create an upset by defeating world number 12 Lucas Puille, crushed Olivo 6-4 6-1 in the opening round of the USD 7,972,535 hard court event.
He next faces Sweden’s Elias Ymer, who is 133rd ranked men singles player of the world. The match is expected to start at 11.30 PM (Indian standard time). Bhambri is 107th ranked men singles player in the world.
However, Ramkumar fell in the first round, losing 6-7(4) 4-6 to American Michael Mmoh.
