Harbhajan Singh faced the wrath from the Indian fans after he asked the countrymen to donate to Shahid Afridi’s foundation amid coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan. However, the veteran cricketer has now lashed out at the former Pakistani skipper after he spew venom against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India, talking from an army cantonment area in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK).
Recently, Harbhajan and Yuvraj Singh donated in Shahid Afridi’s foundation for the noble cause and faced the backlash from some Indian fans and were praised by the Pakistani fans. However, Harbhajan Singh could not stand with Afridi after the former Pakistani International was caught spreading hate and fake propaganda against Prime Minister Modi and Indian Army.
“This is very upsetting what Shahid Afridi has come up with, talking ill about our country and our Prime Minister. This is just not acceptable. To be honest, he (Afridi) asked us to make an appeal for his charity. In good faith, we did it for humanity and for the people suffering due to the Coronavirus,” Harbhajan was quoted as saying in India Today.
“This man (Afridi) is talking ill about our country. All I have to say is we have nothing to do with Shahid Afridi. He has no right to speak ill against our country and he should stay in his country and limits,” the Turbanator stated.
“One person asks me to make an appeal for the sake of humanity, and I did my bit. That was it. I have no relation or tie-up with any Shahid Afridi from here on,” he added.
Yuvraj Singh also hit back Shahid Afridi and said that he will never accept words against his Prime Minister.
“Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again. Jai Hind,” Yuvraj tweeted.

India hit back and started showing the weather of cities like Muzaffarabad which is the capital of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and also promised strict army actions if Pakistan contests election in the Indian territory, which was illegally captured by Pakistan in 1947.
